1Who we are
Saehae Studio is simply the name under which Zaydan Solution LLC, a company licensed in the United Arab Emirates, operates its art business. Zaydan Solution LLC is responsible for the personal data it collects through this website and during a commission. You can contact us about privacy at hello@saehaestudio.com.
2What we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to your enquiry and create your commission:
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number.
- Commission details: the information you give us about the painting you want, such as size, tier, occasion, dates and any notes or preferences.
- Your photographs: the reference images you send us so we can paint your portrait. These may show you and other people you choose to include.
- Messages: the content of your correspondence with us by form, email or WhatsApp.
- Usage and analytics data: only if you accept our cookie notice. This is anonymous information about how the site is used, such as the pages viewed, the type of device, and whether you arrived from a search engine, a social profile or a link. It does not tell us who you are.
Cookies. The website itself does not need cookies to work. On your first visit we ask, through a small notice, whether you are happy for us to use Google Analytics, which sets cookies so that we can understand how our work is found. Nothing is loaded and no analytics cookie is set unless you press Accept. If you decline, we measure nothing. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, and the notice will appear again.
We do not run accounts, and we do not ask for or store your card or bank details on this website.
3Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your personal data to:
- respond to your quote request and answer your questions;
- prepare a quote, order summary or invoice;
- create, revise and deliver your commissioned painting; and
- keep records we are required to keep and handle any after-sales matter.
Our lawful basis is your consent when you contact us and submit your details, and the performance of the commission contract between you and Zaydan Solution LLC. Your photographs are used solely to create the commissioned painting. We do not use them for any unrelated purpose.
4We do not sell or share your data
We do not sell your personal data or your photographs, and we do not share them with third parties for their own marketing. We only share data with the service providers that help us operate, as described in the next section, and where we are required to do so by law or a competent authority.
5Service providers we use
We use a small number of trusted providers to run our website, enquiry and email systems. They process data on our behalf:
- Web3Forms: delivers the contents of our website quote form to our email inbox. The details you submit through the form pass through this service so that it can reach us.
- Zoho: our email is hosted on Zoho. Your messages and any photographs you email or that reach us through the form are stored in our Zoho mailbox.
- Google Analytics: tells us how the website is found and which pages are read, and runs only if you accept our cookie notice. We use it to understand our audience, never to identify you, and we ask Google to anonymise visitor IP addresses. If you decline, it is never loaded.
- Cloudflare: hosts and delivers the website, and provides basic visitor statistics that do not use cookies and do not identify individual visitors.
Some providers may process or store data on servers outside the UAE. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps so that your data continues to be protected, consistent with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
6How long we keep it
We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. In practice, we keep enquiry information for a reasonable period while we are in contact, and we keep commission and transaction records for as long as needed to provide after-sales support and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We keep your photographs for as long as needed to complete and support your commission, after which they may be deleted on request as described below.
7Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and ask for a copy;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or out of date;
- ask us to delete your personal data, including your photographs, where we no longer need it;
- ask us to restrict or stop certain processing, and object to processing;
- ask us to transfer your data where that right applies; and
- withdraw your consent at any time, which does not affect processing already carried out.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@saehaestudio.com. We will respond within 30 days. To request deletion of your data or photographs, simply email us and ask, and we will confirm once it is done.
8Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data and limit access to it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to deal promptly with any issue.
9Children
Our service is intended for adults. If your commission includes images of children, you confirm that you are their parent or guardian, or that you have the permission of a parent or guardian, before sending those photographs.
10Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and the current version is always available on this page.
